Golf Score Card Holder

Golf Score Card Holder Buying Guide: Find the perfect golf score card holder by knowing what you want.

Golf score card holders all seem relatively the same. After all, they normally are small, hold your score card and have a place for a pencil. But despite those similarities, golf score card holders have many differences, and choosing the wrong one may add frustration to your game. To help you find the holder that will function best for you, below you'll find a list of the different options you will find when looking for golf score card holders.

Size: If you plan on carrying your golf score card holder in your pocket, you will want to make sure that it won't interfere with your swing. Try to find a score card holder that is thin and light. Just make sure you don't get one that is too small, because you may find that some course's score cards will be to big to fit in the holder.

Clip to Attach to Golf Bag: Some golfers prefer to have their golf score card holder attached to their bag.

Material: Most golf score card holders are made of either plastic or leather.

Score Card Holding Device: Make sure the device that holds the score card in place does not cover the part of the card where you record your scores. Otherwise you will be very annoyed when you find that you have to take your scorecard out of the holder after every hole.

Pencil Holder: The pencil holder should be easy to access and use. If the pencil holder is too loose, you will always lose your pencils. If its too tight, you will be frustrated each time you try to put the pencil back in.

Holders for Tees, a Ball Marker and a Divot Repair Tool: If you always loose your tees, ball markers or divot repair tools in your golf bag, you may want to purchase a golf score card holder that includes a spot for a few tees, a ball marker and a divot repair tool. That way you can avoid embarrassing holdups by being able to easily pull them out when you need them.

Handicap Chart or Calculator: Some golf score card holders have a handicap chart of calculator printed on them, which can be useful for golfers who keep track of their handicap.

Extra Pockets: Golf score card holders with extra pockets can be useful for golfers who don't want to take their wallet on the green. The extra pockets are perfect for extra cash, credit cards or business cards.

Personalized: Some golf score card holders can be personalized with your name or a business logo.
